This review will examine the Rodial Snake Bubble Mask and the Maskologist Rose Glowing Potion. I think this mask is a great addition to any skincare routine, but I also want to see if it works for you, and if it does, what your experience was with it.
Maskologist claims to be the only skincare company to use only all natural ingredients. And they are very specific about what goes into their masks, both when it comes to ingredients and methods of application.
Rodial promises that its masks contain natural oils that are great for the skin. But at the same time they don’t claim that these oils will make your skin “glow”.
I’ve tried both Rodial and Maskologist products and here’s what I found. Each has good ingredients that will work, but which one is better?
In Rodial, the sheets are thick, and there is a little bit of a tendency that they might get stuck. That said, if the sheets are torn during the process of application, that’s a very small issue.
While my face looked very smooth after I applied the Maskologist Rose Glowing Potion, my face felt like I’d eaten a big raw onion. It was red and almost had a slight zing.
Maskologist Rose Glowing Potion had absolutely no glow. If you want a glowing mask, you need a quality product, but if you’re looking for an easy mask that will give you a nice glow, this mask will work.
Rodial is a little better than Maskologist. The Rodial isn’t as thick as the Maskologist, but there was no sticking to the sheets with this one.
Rodial’s best sheet mask by far was the one that has Vitamin C in it. That is a great addition, and it does produce some sort of glowing effect on the skin.
I didn’t get a deep color from the Maskologist Rose Glowing Potion, and I can’t comment on the effect that it would have on dark complexions. It was just okay for me.
Maskologist’s best sheet mask by far is their Green Tea Deep Moist Soothing mask. It gives a nice, deep, yet mild glow to my skin, and it also makes my skin look smoother.
